Here's a stupid question: r53 Lower powerflex bushing

So... I have the inserts (black ones) for the lower mount, the large side is simple - but the the small side - how did you guys get the Oem bushing out?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If your talking about the lower control arm bushings, they are a pain. Can use the specialized tool or a press, outside of those two options i dont know how.

I was referring to the lower engine mount, the smaller bushing of the 2.

The small side is already solid rubber, there isn't much give at all to it, but if you want to replace it; I've always used a MAP gas torch and melted the old bushing out (be careful the mount is aluminum), let it cool and press the new bushing in.
