Drivetrain Exhausts that don't burble
Exhausts that don't burble
I've got an 05 MCS with a Magnaflow on it, and quite frankly the burble has become too much. Anyone running something different? How much burble do you have? Was thinking of getting a custom one with a Megan header.
Lol I don't hate it, but with the current rear end knock I have I cant tell what is what half the time.
Plus I like the Alta single canister design and want the weight savings of such. The burble has been fun but I think it's time for function over... "form"? Lol

Go with either a Miltek or Stratmosphere, and if the burbles are too much I would recommend against running an aftermarket header.

Thats the kicker!
I am gonna get under the beast tomorrow and see if the bushings need greased, or if something is loose. The car is not DDed and the Hotchis bar has only been on for about 500 miles. This just started a few days ago.
Still considering a different exhaust but for reasons stated above. The single side saves the weight, plus my exhaust guy is gonna do my header anyway. Plus the MagnaFlow tips have seen better days.
I do love the burbles as well. I just hate little noises more!

A custom tune can get rid of it as it's part of the oem tune. Otherwise, you need something like the oem exhaust to make it quiet. I had a Celica GTS muffler for a while and I couldn't hear it at all. I do like the popcorn machine noise, so I missed it.
