Diverter Valve Issue

Have a R58 JCW and recently replaced the diverter valve with the GFB DV+ as I got a good deal on a new one from someone here on the forums. Installed it and ran great for about a week, then got an intermittent bypass valve plausibility code. Took everything apart, re-checked the instructions and lubed up the inner spring with some motor oil as the instructions called for. Put everything back together making sure it was tightened down and the electrical connector was firmly snapped back in and everything has been running fine for the past two weeks.

Met up with a guy last night and as I was leaving to go home, the half-shaded light came on and the car wouldn't make more then probably 4-5 psi of boost (i.e. limp mode). Read the code and it was again "bypass valve plausibility". Haven't had a chance to take everything apart again and put the factory bypass valve back in, and when I drove to work this morning, everything was working fine for the two or three times I really got into boost on the highway. Still intend on putting the factory in to see if the issue is replicated, meaning it's something wrong with the turbo instead.

Has anyone had anything similar happen with their GFB DV+ or any idea what's going on?
