Car has been making a hum sound as tires rotate since i bought it. Replaced front tires, and left rear as they had over 90% remaining. Sound still there. Brought it to mechanic, and he said the tires are getting chewed up due to the suspension. I trust this mechanic as I have used them for years. He would do an alignment, but said if he does that, and then I do suspension it would need to be redone. Car drives perfect. Has 79k on it. I am not noticing anything other than the sound.
Where is the cheapest place to buy new Struts (and shocks if required). This car will be used a toad so I am not looking to lower it. I just want to get the suspension replaced in the least expensive way possible. Thanks!
