Josh - Not sure if Im failing at the interwebz or what - but I'm trying to get ahold of the Touring but cant see where to actually click a Buy It Now button from AWE's site...

I ordered a track exhaust and used Xlr8 out of Connecticut. Ordered it a week ago and still haven’t heard anything. Hope it goes through. My
credit card has been charged.

 

I was looking at their site as well for the touring. I might have to make a call and see if they are actually "in stock."

What is going on with the EPA and impacting the sale of exhausts?

 

If Im not mistaken, modifying or altering an emissions related device on the car is a federal offense. I know on the Ford diesel forums, there was a BIG FUSS over the EPA and the FBI who went after a bunch of companies that were aggressively marketing tunes and items that were intended for "off road use" but for all intents and purposes it was just regular guys who had no intent of racing or using it solely for "off road use." I think that there were in some cases of fines in excess of 200K and potential jail time.

My guess as that's just what I've seen from other places in and around the interwebz.

 

If a vendor has it in stock, then that can happen. But if it is ordered from us for fulfillment, we cannot send it out within the US.

Exactly what they're saying. They will no longer offer it in the US. If those who dont "drop ship" and actually have it in stock, "they" not AWE will sell it to you.

There's a few vendors who still have them on their shelves. If your wanting one, I'd suggest looking into it sooner then later.

 

just doesn’t make sense? The exhaust doesn’t change emissions if your not touching the catalyst converter.
