Drivetrain Looking for tuner in Chicago
Looking for tuner in Chicago
Does anyone know of a tuning shop in Chicago. I want to upgrade the pulley, intake and exhaust. I remember a shop in the north suburbs that did Minis and Porsches but I cannot find their website. Dam, I should have added to Favorites. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Sol started Perfect Power, Inc. in 1981. He is an FAA powerplant rated mechanic and has been working on Porsche 911’s for 28 years. Sol’s experience building aircraft engines and racing engines is put to good use on street and race 911’s. Although Perfect Power originally focused on engine development and building, it didn’t take long to realize that to win races would require the same type of effort on the chassis of the car and the coaching of the driver. Now, Perfect Power is as well known for building race cars, setting up chassis and working with drivers as for building engines.
Perfect Power’s clean and beautiful 5,000 square foot facility is located in Libertyville, Illinois. It includes the latest Hunter alignment equipment, corner weighing scales, engine dynamometer and equipment necessary to service all of Porsche’s classic and current cars.

I used GRD in Naperville. They are pirmarily a tuner shop for VW,Audi, Subaru adnMitsu but they have one tech who really knows what hes doing with MINI. Call over a talk to Irshad or Tuan. They've installed the alta guage pod, Defi BF guages and the alta pulley. I don't know where the tech gets his expertise but if I didn't know better I would assume that he is factory trained.
