Clutch replacement

Some sights say to mark the drive shafts for re alignment. Is this critical, it would seem like a good idea. When I installed coil overs and dropped the front about 3/4 inch it did cause slight vibration on acceleration. Would a new contact point matter? I don't want to replace drive shafts any time soon. The clutch is enough.
