I've been sworn to secrecy, but there is a very exciting new exhaust choice for the F56S in development by an American manufacturer who is known for high-end exhausts. I promise to tell more as soon as I'm allowed.
Stock exhaust pipe is 2.25". If i were to run a "straight pipe" of larger diameter from the first cat to the rear tips would that cause any negative issues? Basically what effect would no restrictions and a larger pipe have on my car (no tunes).

Why ? Guessing the other post is a Borla since its been in R&D for a while

From a power standpoint the effect would be minimal. The sound would obviously be louder. We have a F56s with basically that setup in the shop right now. It sounds good--not as loud as I though it would. For a D.D., I would prefer a smidgen more refinement in the sound.
Yes and yes. It's a muffler delete (for the time being, before the car is used to prototype the aforementioned high-end exhaust), and it does pop like a mthr4&cker.
sorry for the language, I just like the sound of that
That sounds really nice... I wonder how much louder it would be without the resonator. These cars have crazy big mufflers too so I'm sure that the weight savings is substantial as well.

It would be 15-20% louder. The delete the s pretty loud once the car breaks 10k miles just fyi. At 15k miles i was getting some hwy drone which is why I went to the Magnaflow which has great tone but might be to quite. Its right btn stock and the delete. Installing a CNT Racing 2.5 once my car is out if the shop. Muffler delete pops are loud under load, almost caused a wreck once as a made a soccer mom swerve when I let off the gas at 5k rpm.
Looking at a muffler delete.... what did you guys do to support it? The stock muffler connects with a hanger but idk what to do and am looking for advice. Also, how long was the replacement pipe? I'm looking to buy my own and am trying to minimize welding too many pipes together.
My shop is trying to charge me $200 for labor, $80 for tips and $80 for the delete pipe. I'm trying to get everything cheaper and see how much I can do on my own. Do you have a pic or can link me to one, please?
