I purchased a 15% reduction pulley and belt from Way Motor Works in the winter months. I recently changed the timing chain, guides, and tensioner, now I want to change the pulley. When I ordered all my parts I noticed I could rent the pulley puller, but I thought I could rent it by itself later. I was wrong and it is only part of a pulley pack they offer. After reading many horror stories, I want to make sure I have the right pulley for the job. Are there any other places I might be able to rent this pulley? I would rather not buy one for this one time use if possible. Also, any info on the pulley would be helpful too.

 

Buying a used puller and then reselling it after your done using it is an option.

 

Let way know you bought a kit from him and he will give you a $10 discount on a puller. Then sell it after your done, that's what I did, they sell quick if priced right.
