I am getting ready to do an oil change and spark plugs on the Mini, and noticed that the foam filter in the DDM box is getting pretty bad. I was debating putting a K&N in there instead. Can anyone tell my what the K&N part number is for the filter that fits the DDM Intake? Or do you recommend I stick with a foam filter?

As a note, this is my wife's car, and is daily driven with an intake and cat-back as the only mods.

just clean the foam filter....

Unless it is deteriorating or such, just go to advance and pick up the K&N filter cleaning kit.

Clean the Uni Filter from DDM and then re-oil it and make sure to shake the excess oil out.

if you want to switch to a K&N filter be my guest, but you will need to measure the filter attachment ID and search there website to find a piece that will fit.

I swapped the foam filter that came with the DDM intake for a K&N a month or so ago. I'll post the part number later today when I get home from work.
