Anyone runing JB+ CAN Tool along w/ELM 327?
So today I received my ELM 327 Wifi. Linked up w/my I Phone V via Dash Command. all went well, except I noticed that my CAN tool was acting up. I purchased one of these splitters along w/the ELM IOT run both the OBD Wifi and CAN Tool:
I believe it may be interfering with the JB+ CAN's ability to Highjack my stock gauges.
Has anyone tried this or have input to offer. I'd like to be able to monitor the following:
Timing/Boost/IAT/AFR
But the CAN Tool is a must IOT delete the CODE for Cat-less DP.
Let me know what y'all think,
Thanks...

When I hooked it all up, it worked for a while, then I noticed no high jacking occurred when I was definitely above 10psi of boost.
Oh well back to the drawing board, I guess...
Thanks.

Yeah that would be the last result. The ELM with dash Command allows for more gauges than the JB+ CAN Tool. But the CAN Tool eliminates my CEL due to running a Catless DP. I was hoping I could have my cake and eat it too.

that will get rid of your CEL, or you could buy an o2 bung spacer and put that in then your o2 sensor. that will also get rid of the CEL, i did that on my 370z and it worked

Thanks, but that defeats the purpose of using the CAN Tool. Also, Spacers have not worked on the MINI according to other NAM members. I think I will just run the ELM when I want to do Data Logs...

Wouldn't you just be able to clear the code with the ELM wifi device+phone? I mean I understand your reasoning, but if it's one or the other...won't that solve said issue?

I guess the confusion is this: I don't use the CAN tool to erase the code; it prevents the code all together from appearing. At this point, It is more beneficial to run the CAN Tool all the time due to my mods. I will use the ELM when I wanna run some data logs.
Hence the follow on question; how do you run a data log using Dash Command ap? And do I need the Scan XL program to read data files.
