I just ordered a 19% pulley and am going to install it in about a week or so. Seeing as how my car is on lease and I dont actually "own" the vehicle, is it possible to put the stock pulley back on since the car must be returned stock? I'm sure there are others in the same situation as me and would appreciate any input.

P.S. I was thinking of purchasing the car but I'd rather wait for the next gen series to arrive and I don't have enough $$ to be buying and selling cars up front.

Thanks

If someone out there would be so kind as to make stock size taper bore pulleys that fit the Helix hub you would be in business.

Good move. The Tritec motor engineers put a lot of time engineering the correct size pulley for engine/supercharger longevity and dependability. I doubt you would compromise engine dependability, but factory warranty issues?

lukee,

If you have a lease MINI you can-
Leave the reduced pulley on and not fuss with it. A pulley is a pulley and the MINI works. Albeit a little quicker.

Read the fine print and under penalty of breach of contract (like you know you are going to get caught by a sharp eyed mechanic that knows what to look for) you can remove the reduced pulley and install a stock pulley/stock belt.

Minimania sells the stock pulley for $79.95
