that's what I thought as well when I first looked at this

but, if you look at the explanation on the main page, not just the chart pop up, it's the chip, pulley, exhaust and air intake

for all those modications, isnt' 30 reasonable?

 

And the dyno chart only shows a high of 175HP at the wheels yet the previous page mentions "just under 200 horsepower at the wheels". 175 is just under 200HP? That's quite a stretch!

 

The red trace shows 188hp SAE, the green trace shows 175.5hp SAE. Thats a 12.5hp difference between the two software programs. Eurpean Car has been tuning this MINI for some time. The last article I read, they had achieved 198 whp using a 15% pulley, exhaust, intake, Denso iridium plugs and some other stuff. The found that the A/F was very rich even with the Evotech software. Is this the best software out there? Has anyone had similar experiences on a dyno?

 

wait... the Red trace says that it's the Powerchip software. Is that the same Powerchip software that I got from Randy Webb??

 

Webb/powerchip is supposed to be better than powerchip gold.
