Beru (subsidiary of FederalMogal -- owner of Champion spark plugs) is the manufacture. That spark plug is:
http://beru.federalmogul.com/product...ugs/beru-ultra

The part number is 12-ZR-6SPP2-1. The MFG part number is 0002240911.

Specs are:
Tightening Torque [Nm] 20
Port Type SAE
Thread Length [mm] 26,5
Thread Size M 12x1,25
Spanner Size 14/bi-hex
Spark Plug 1 - Earthed Electrode
Electrode Gap [mm] 0,7

The NGK equivalent is PLZKBR7A-G (5843). Hope that helps you get to your step one colder.

That helps a ton!! Do you know if my GP plugs are the same for all R56 turbos?
So I just need to find one plug colder than PLZKBR7A 5843?

Correct on finding the one step colder. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to the spark being the same for all the GP R56's. My wife's R56 S (non-GP) has NGKs. From a quick look at the BMW parts list, I'd venture to say yes, but don't quote me on that.

Realoem is your friend.

I put my GP2 vin into realoem, and found the spark plug

http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...05&hg=12&fg=05

spark plug part number 12122293697

Then cross reference that part number on realoem

http://realoem.com/bmw/partxref.do?p...=on&showeur=on

The plug seems to be common on all N18 cooper S and JCW variants. It is a different plug on N14

So the NGK 5992 would be one step colder, rigjt?
