So I'm changing of bunch of parts on my 2004 MCS (build 03/04).
When I was working on the driver's side I noticed that I have a Getrag Transmission.

Now I thought that I had a different brand (Midlands?) because of my build date.

My question is when did they change over to Getrag? I know I read it somewhere but can't seem to find it.

 

All S ALWAYS had the getrag....the ratio was changed in 2005......you have an s....
Non s coopers had a 5 speed midlands till 2005 when they changed to a 5 speed getrag
