I got bored this morning and downloaded another app for my iphone after reading some threads on another site talking about water/methanol injection. You know how people get when all of a sudden someone mentions how they did not go do an actual dyno but rather downloaded an app and used their cell phones? Well I decided to try a couple apps to see how they worked.

The only app I had time to test out was PocketDyno free. I wasn't going to pay for something just because I was bored lol. Anyway after doing the calibration and a couple of runs on a straight road out in the middle of no where I settled for this. Iphone5 was secured in place, double clicked so it would signal me to start, and yes I had some wheel spin and I had to let off the gas both times before I was able to even move. I wont be drag racing this car so Im not to worried about hooking up the tires.








Anyway not sure how accurate it is... but was fun.

 

You've gotta go get a real dyno and compare results with the full app. For science.
