so i want to get a invidia cat back, then started to look at headers. and was looking at the megan header. does anyone have this combo so i can hear it? what are you thoughts on it? because i only found one video of this combo and had the resonator deleted, it was super raspy and i did not like it at all, was it raspy because the resonator was deleted?. and recently saw a R53 with another well know exhaust brand on it and it sounded like a honda. and was surprised when i heard where the noise was coming from.


what im really afraid is of the car sounding really raspy and hondaish....

 

Can't comment on the invidia but I just added an OBX header to my scorpion cat back. It made it much deeper in tone and added a little rasp to it. Nothing like a honda though which I had. I'll be at Lime Rock on Labor day in the car corral. If you're going you can check it out.

 

i wont be able to make it to LR, but thanks for the input. the last thing i want is for my mini so sound like crap.

it take me a long time to choose an exhaust i like, when i had the jetta i took a year to find this one great magnaflow cat back, and on the rx7 it took a great deal of time till i decided on a racing beat turbo-back. and i thoroughly enjoy both, well not the jetta anymore its dead :(
