is there any intake less than 200$?!?!
im looking to get a 15% reduced pulley but i would like to install an intake with it. the only ones i can find are 200-300$ is this honestly what i must pay for a heat shield and a filter
? some dont even come with intake piping only the filter. if anyone can direct me to where i can find a quality intake that will keep out engine heat itd be much appreciated!

Megan makes a heatshield and KN filter that you can get on ebay for $100
im sure you can the $70 silicone hose on it... thats $170~ for intake that works like any other intake on the market.....
if your on a tighter budget look up the HAI mod... where you buy a big KN filter over the throttle body ~$30-40.
honestly intake doesnt yield much... just more noise... if noise whats your looking for then the megan looks like a great bang for buck
you can also get the alta intake without the hose for around $150
but you can always just get a better flowing filter for the stock intake ..

you can always make a lowes or homedepot special.
Won't look as nice, but it can be quite functional.
just buy some lexan, and angle iron (or aluminum), a few PVC fittings, and use rivets to hold it all together and voila, you can have an intake with some thought and planning.
