To Do list questions

Hey guys, before the summer is over i have a list of things to do to the mini

OBX Header/Megan Header
NS1 Cam
16%/17% WMW Pulley
some IC upgrade, not sure if DFIC or GP
Injectors
Tune for Injectors

my main two questions should i go for the 550cc or the 440cc injectors? I know i shouldnt be worrying about fuel mileage but they dont affect normal driving conditions correct? just under hard accel?

without having too much access to a dyno, who would have the easiest tuning ability as i add the mods in? or would i have to do them all at the same time? from what i see theres WMW, RMW, and bytes tuning....

As far as injectors IMO go with the 550's, there will absolutely be NO difference with your everyday or performance driving as long as they're scaled properly, and short of doing a "monster" build using e85, you'll never need to upgrade them.

Even with all my mods I was still getting 27+ mpg around town & if I kept it under 70mph could get 32+ hwy.

As far as tuning, just do it all at the same time, otherwise you'll have to pay to retune, which should be done after the cam change as well as the injectors.

With that list your ECU should be able to handle everything on it's own except the injectors, won't be right, but as long as you're not thrashing on it, it should run well enough to get you by until you install & tune for the injectors.
Also, looking at your list again, if you're not going to tune right away, do yourself a favor & just do 1 or 2 things at a time, drive it a couple of days to give the ECU time to make adaptations, then do something else, it's just my opinion, but that way you're not dumping all those changes on the ECU at once. Again that's only if you're not tuning right away.

thats some good advise, i did see a graph somewhere with the 17% basically doing the 100% duty cycle, and theres no chance i want that to happen, but im not rough on the car after new mods, and i can keep it in the safe zone till a new tune.

are the injectors on the mini an easy install?

the cam should be straight forward

Injectors, yes, pull the I/C, bleed the fuel rail, pop the entire assy. out of the intake & swap'em, no biggie, but don't forget with the 440's or 550's, the car will not run at all without a "starter" tune loaded into the ECU for the injectors.

And yes, cam is pretty straight forward too, pm me when the time comes & I'll be happy to throw some tips your way.
