Can anybody recommend an independent shop in SoCal (San Bernardino, Riverside, or Los Angeles counties) that is trustworthy for doing after market suspension installations? I’m too old, unskilled, and uncoordinated to do the wrenching myself!

Any pointers will be appreciated!

Hi Nick....

One of the best around is Steves Auto Service 818-891-6109...

He is the nicest guy you could ever run in, to with tons of Mini experience...Highly recomended.

i have used avus auto sports in glendale. sorry i am away and do not have their number for you. talk to laife (pronounce lafe), he is a cooper s owner and enthusiast. they work exclusively on bmw and mini. a little expensive but very good service and laife is easy to deal with. he is involved with the mini part of the southern california bmw club.
its always good to have another choice, i will probably check out steve's as well. thanks for the tip

Many others agree with Peter that Steves is worth the visit. You can't go wrong there.

I'm in the Cerritos, but work in Long Beach and need to have a Borla installed. Most shops I know of are closed on weekends. Any thoughts on who might be open or able to do an exhaust install on a Saturday AM, locally?

And to the other guy looking for a suspension install. I've been going to Allen Tire in Downey for years. They do good work and are reasonable priced. I just had them install the Eibach Pro Kit on my Mini S. What a difference!
