M7 was bought out and is now located near Charlotte, N.C. I talked to them at MOTD this year. They're working on new products ($2900 race wing!!!) and re-vamping some old ones (hood scoops and such). Can't wait to see some new products for the MINI.

I have my OE BPV and played around with it once the DTBPV was on the car and you can definitely see how a whistle would occur.
What was the difference that the DT BPV made in the sound? Less whistle?

Right then, you're good. I definitely don't have the mechanical experience that you do, so I didn't attempt to do the pulley myself. I've done some smaller projects, but I heard a lot of stories of people not doing it right that I decided to leave that one alone, haha!

There is lots of info and experience out there on this topic, though, and it's pretty definitive you don't need to do any fuel mods with just a pulley.
