That was pre production, as its OBD switchable and flashable with an SPS switch you can turn it down or up to suit conditions, fuel etc....With the numbers, are you comparing it to a Cooper S Auto with JCW kit in South Korea in their conditions and with their fuel running medium settings like it is? This was a teaser, nothing more, anyway peak numbers dont mean anything as the video proves. Manic has a long and successful history.
You will see how good it is when we come to the US in 2014, yes its ALL OBD flashable including 2013 N18 FJCW, its all SPS Switchable to stock and pre set performance modes and yes it will more than just compete with the better tuners you have over in the States.
But make your own mind up when we come the the US next year. We will set up sponsorship here so you can get all the facts and we can answer any questions.
Haters going to hate, but think about it, would we be first to be able to do this stuff if we were idiots or didnt know what we are doing? How come the current experts in R56 cant do it over a year after we cracked it? You will find out in 2014. We are not here to hate, we are here to offer the best most advanced product in the market. You have a choice, buy a piggy back if you prefer, open the ecu with another tuner if you prefer or come to us and we will look after you and give you a Market leading product, your choice.

Im English and my tuning partner is American by the way, for all those asking. See you soon!

If your tune has dyno confirmed gains then it could be great. Let's not have another race-chip all over agian.

That tuner looks to be working with EU based cars. North American cars have different DME programming in addition to having MAF sensors where EU cars don't.

We have worked with all manner of cars in different countries. We moved to minis 2 years ago and have tuned all over the world so know all the little differences. They all differ in some way.
We will be launching US codes for US cars regardless of if they are N14 or N18 based. We cater for cars with and without MAF's due to regional spec. US, Asian or European....We do them all. No ECU out and fully in car Switchable mapping.
More details on US launch coming later in the year ready for 2014! GO MANIC!

Let me know how you are doing this, and when it's going to be ready for US consumption on the N18 engine.

After all this which is the best way to go. I have a 09' jcw with low miles. I was thinking of purchasing a Accessport . What are your thoughts? I'm lost. I'm in NY and would like to find a tuner that knows minis. Thanks

That manic tunning sounds like the real deal, switchable maps sound good too. I don't lend my car out so I dont see the need for switchable stock or valet mode. I just run my Evolve tune and enjoy it, but like APR where you can switch between your remap, race fuel map or meth then your talking about something exciting and worth paying for of course as long as they know what their doing and don't over ride ECU engine knock sensors etc.
