Hi, I have a 2005 MCS with 45000 miles on the clock. When I start the car there is a knocking noise which changed frequency when I rev the car. The noise stops as soon as I dip the clutch. Anybody experienced this issue?

My car has the same noise, there is a discussion somewhere on here about that very thing. I was told that mine was problaly the dual mass flywheel and wouldn't hurt any thing. Mine normally goes away as it warms up but not all the time. Just waiting till I need a new clutch and then I will install one of the cheap light weight flywheels.
