IIRC, you w/m and a lot more mods than i did haha. Keep your useless AP, canned tunes are garbage.. one tune doesnt fit all cars.

90% of all AP tuned cars have made super low numbers including the JCWs.

Jan has consistently pulled 210-235WHP out of an MCS, and 240-280WTQ out of them. Mods make the difference.

Cheers.

I like the sound of this, I have a k03/k04 hybrid sitting in my closet... just havent installed it. Waiting to do w/m with it like yourself.
You should give it to me while I send mine in to have it upgraded so I can do this install quick. I am going to start on it tomorrow if everything works out right.

HaHa, you're funny. I wish I had my old dyno graph to prove you wrong. Oh wait, I do.

It's a MCS

Red- Stock
Green- Stg3 as you put it
Pink- RMW

So that's your Mini that Howerton engineering has showcased on their site. Very cool gains.

Wow, I don't need to pay kids games by posting my stg3 dyno graph, because it's pointless. It's another RMW vs Cobb AP thread all over again. Listen guys, I'm happy with what I have and you're happy with what you have, I'm not even trying to sway the OP, I've been saying that stg3 is just as good as an RMW tune.

Go ahead and all you RMW tuned guys can wack each other off and say "ah yeah, I put down 230-240whp easy on my RMW", that's more than fine, I've heard this about a dyno tune compared to a flash tune on e90post too, and yet, the pnp tune via Procede on an E92 is still stomping on GIAC and whoever is left in that market.

I really don't give a ****. I can go ahead and dyno tune a PRO-AP, but I don't need it, because at the end of a track day, I would still stomp on you.

You're cute. I'm going to stop before I get in trouble. I will finish off by saying, on my personal car the RMW tune did much better than the AP stage 3. Now lets all get along so this thread doesn't get locked and we can help OP.

Sport Mode Off

I just remembered that I had the Sport Mode OFF on the dyno runs . What a dumb ***!! Do I should expect more whp with the Sport Mode On (5-8whp)?

RWM is in my future plans, but for now I want to get the most I can with the AP and bolt-on. BTW where is located Jan (state, city)?

Sport mode doesn't make a difference in power output with the normal ALTA maps.

I think hes in Orange County California.
I just Dynoed a Customers RMW canned tuned jcw it has A tune Intercooler and Meth
made 258 hp and i forget what torque i think 285.
But if your gains are low, check the fan make sure your boosting to where you should be and
carbon build up can always be an issue even if you don't feel like the car is running rough.
Ive seen many many people feel a huge difference after cleaning the car out.
problem is it builds up slowly. Meaning you don't notice it.

MNIPWR I think you are talking about the shop in Wilmington that RMW used, I do not believe they are there anymore. I was tuned there as well, I just live between LA/OC in Seal Beach.
