MAF sensor issue
I have a 2006 R53 with the Alta 17% reduction pulley.
I did not know this, but I now know that upgrading the pulley and not the injectors can case the MAF sensor to fail eventually?
I have this error code popping up:

Anyone have any comments or suggestions?
I have a check engine light on and an EML light.

Hmm. I spoke to the adviser at the dealership. He said that the increased pressure on the SC from the reduced pulley can cause the flow sensor to throw codes over time. And he said the likely cause of that code I got is the flow sensor.
1st off the Advisor is giving you the generic, "you modified your car, now bad things are going to happen" answer.
Do a search here or even just google for that code, it is usually caused by a boost or vacuum leak, basiclly it's a post S/C leak, 90% of the time it is the plastic vacuum tube to the back of the S/C or a bad or loose I/C boot.

. 1st gens have a MAP. And those faults are not even close to related to any MINI and no MINI had EGR.
