How close is K&N red to a red Mini?

The red typhoon is more maroon than red. Darker than the mini color. I put one in my indy blue S and think it looks good as a contrasting color. I think the silver would look great in the red mini....If I could figure out how to attach a photo I'd send you one!!!

I really can't decide on the color. I guess polished is safe.
