OK, I have a '04 MCS that was made in August '03. Is there any way to tell which shifter I have, the '03 or '04? I want to get a B&M SS but I'm not sure if I can use the current one available.

If I get the wrong one then there are RMA#'s, restocking fees...all that mess . I would like to avoid that.

Thanks

You can also consider the Mini Madness short shifter. It is now available for the 2004 models.

The change over took place on the 10/03 build 04 models. Of course this is the one that I have  so I am stuck waiting for the new B&M to come out.
