Replacement Air Filter

I have a 2011 JCW 2dr. and I think I would like to add a more permanent
and hopefully a better performing air filter. I have had good results in a previous car, (not a Mini) with K&N but I am totally open to suggestions.

I personally like the dry filters from Afe or Amsoil, as they do not require oiling after cleaning. I'm not sure if they make them for your application, but it's worth a shot.
