What are your impressions of the diff?

 

Well, it was a fiasco that resulted in having the diff returned. I placed the order, got an update that said it would be around two weeks before I got it, so I cancelled the order because there was no way I could keep my transmission out that long, then a couple of days later it showed up, maybe two or three days after I put my car back together. To add a little salt, it came with a packing slip from the manufacturer and a receipt showing a total of $330, that is less than half what I paid through ECS.

Also, the warranty they offer requires you to have it installed by a professional that is certified by MFactory, which I did not see mentioned on the ECS website, so that is worthless if I'm installing it myself. I found that fine print in the info that was packed with the LSD itself.

I wanted it to work out, but the information surrounding the whole deal was either incomplete or inaccurate, so unfortunately that upgrade has taken a back seat. Thankfully ECS let me return it at no charge. Sorry I can't give technical feedback about it, but hopefully this insight helps prepare anyone looking to get buy one of these.

I'm torn behind the M Factory one or Torsen. Though there's some conflicting info as to 5 or 6 speed.
