really depends on your budget. Camshaft won't be worth that much for power, ported and polished manifold and head would be good but costly with installation unless you do it yourself.

Best next thing is lighter exhaust and Revolution Motorwerks or Mynes ECU map for more power given you have alta reduction pulley already.

The MINI doesn't really need that much additional power, about 200-230 hp is enough. What it needs is good suspension that is adjustable and aggresive alignment with lighter wheels, firmer brake pads and sticky Extreme Summer tires.

I agree, unless you want to start spending a considerable amount & go the BVH route, install your header, custom tune & 380cc injectors, then start stripping weight.

It's amazing what loosing a couple of hundred pounds will make the car feel like.

$750 for full access to the software. You can buy dyno time and get a tuner to install your custom MAP. Do this only after you do all the hardware upgrades for power.

Or check where Jan is doing ECU map installs

$350 per tune from Revolution Motor Works
He travels around the country doing tuning parties

IMHO, I wouldn't do anything with the intake manifold, it's fine as it is and any gains are really minimal. With what you have, the big items left before going with a Big Valve Head is a cam with appropriate injectors and a competent tuner to put it all together.

If you are on a budget right now I would just go ahead and install your header and get a tune, which is really the key here. A competent tune is the big gain item left right now before going BVH or any other more radical way (charger change for example).
