Boost leak/Scangauge readings off?

Short cliff note version:

Have the SGII set up to read PSI, 0.0 when off. (6.6-6.8 MAP)

Mods - AFE CAI, JCW Exhaust, JCW tune, 380cc's, M7 16% pulley, ATI super damper, WMW ported supercharger, Gator belt.

Car was reading -6.6 PSI on idle, highest vacuum reading was -11, max PSI was ~10.2.

Was hearing air whistling out from IC boots every so often. I just replaced them today with brand new OEM IC boots. Reset ECU (didn't do a full drive yet)

MINI's reading -8.8 PSI on idle, -12 VAC, Max +10.5 PSI. (2nd gear, didn't take it to 3rd/4th WOT yet)

Car doesn't feel strange, feels like power is still there but the numbers are throwing me off. Maybe the BPV is going?

(I'm looking into getting a REAL boost gauge anyway but have to work off the Scangauge for now.)

Any thoughts? What are your normal SGII MAP/PSI readings?
Or just general paranoia of all things?

Your boost does seem on the low side with a 16% pulley. For comparison, I can get a max boost in the 15+ range with a 15% pulley. I'm also using a Scangauge II. Last fall, I switched to a DT BPV just as an exercise in crossing my T's etc...with no noticeable change to my max. boost. My car is stored for the winter so can't go for a blast to check your other numbers but they look close if my memory serves. I'm sure you'll get some good advice here but double check those boots for the best possible seal. Good luck...

Thanks. I'm taking a look at the boots again. The whine came back. Looks like they're not fitting 100%. I read somewhere that the new replacement boots are thinner than OEM? (I have an '02 R53). Anyone else have issues with that?

Did a quick drive today and messed with the boot a bit, when the whine was around, I was seeing -9 VAC, max PSI was 11.
