I thought I might make a post here for others to share their expierence and opinion. I have had my exhaust on order since the end of December and there is no end in sight. I have called UUC several times and am continually told there working on it but don't have a specific date. I'm now convinced that their is no real production schedule for this exhaust and I need to look elsewhere for my MCS.

Has anyone else have opinions on the subject, i need to make a decision, I'm sooo tired of waiting.

Thanks in advance

end of December! Have you reiterated your wait time to them? I would hope they would be willing to offer some useful reason for the delay! My past purchasing experiences with UUC are nothing but positive, so hearing about this is surprising.

Good luck,
Ryan

I organized a group buy on their short shift kits a while back, and recently bought a shift **** from them. Everything was delivered promptly and w/o hassle. AFAIK they are a bunch of car guys like us, and have been really cool to work with.

Are they shipping these exhausts to other people? If they can't deliver the goods, or tell you what the hold up is, you might as well take your business elsewhere.

I have had stuff on order for over 3 months going on 4 for some customers. I talk to them just about every week. If you are wondering, I was told by one of the employees there that they on there was to UUC in NJ, and should be shipped out next week. I then asked hiw to guarentee this, but said I should talk to my rep. So don't get any hopes up, but I will let you know later today if it is for real or not.

I don think that the exhaust is worth a wait... I think that there definition of wait needs to be changed to less than a month though..

Thanks

I agree, they have been very easy to talk to, no problems at all with their being responsive on the phone. They just seem clueless as to the production status, each time I have called (3X) they think they will be just a couple weeks away but when I press them for a date, they refuse to commit. It sounds to me like there are production issues that remain unresolved and I don't feel they have a handle on it.. I'll wait for Minipilo's updated post to see if he has any better results.

Thanks

I recently met a former UUC employee who furnished me with photos of the UUC Exhaust Divison Skunk Werks. The supply problems are occuring due to a difficult relationship with the employee union, the UEW. It seems that the extremely high quality of the system is possible because the workers are composed primarily of elfs. Unlike the Keebler manufacturing facility, the UUC plant is located in an old apple tree which does not provide a straight path for the flow of materials. This along with several verbal slurs relating to the size of the workers has caused many work stoppages and quality control issues.

Here is a photo of a member of the United Elf Workers beginning the final polishing operation on the rear section of an S exhaust. When asked when he would be finished he replyed "It'll be ready to ship in two weeks".
