I received my set of Kingsborne wires today that I purchased from Outmotoring. Let me start by saying that I have had nothing but success ordering from Outmotoring. The service is quick and painless the way I like it. If you order before noon the products have always been shipped that day for me. I received the items in two days, which is quite good.

I purchased these wires, because I received a lot of good word of mouth from other Mini owners, including the guys at R-Speed. As indicated from everyone else that I have talked too, I felt a definite increase in smoothness with these wires. More so than I ever thought. Couldn't tell you if I had more power, but the power delivery is much smoother (I do have the 15% pulley). The wires are 9mm and appear to be very well made. They were precut to the proper size for the Mini and I had no problem installing them (about a 5 minute job).

All in all, I am very happy with the performance of the product. I felt I got much better performance than the Magnacor and possibly better than the Nology wires. I am also pleased with the shopping experience at Outmotoring. Not sure why these wires were not around sooner, but I am glad they are here. Keep up the good work guys.

The link to the product is Kingsborne Plug Wires

My own bias aside... your comment makes me wonder what wires you have tired (dia. etc.) ...have you used either Magnacore or Nology wires on your own car?

Sorry I should have clarified it. Felt was in the emotional sense, not that I actually tried the other products on my car. From other's comments. No one I really knew felt any difference with the Magnacore and some people I knew felt some smoothness/a little power with the Nology's and some didn't feel anything with the Nology's. Everyone I talked to had felt differences with the Kingsborn. Since I felt the difference as well, I felt that I probably got better performance than I would have expected getting from the Magnacor. Again only an emotional response. Sorry for the confusion.

Therefore I can't judge the other wires and cannot say empirically that these are better wires than either the Magnacor or the Nology.

Thanks for tooting our horn, glad to be of service. We're new and doing our best to get the best products in, get them out as ordered and get them back in time to go back out again.

The Kingsborne wires have sold twice as well as the Magnecor wires that we also offer, in fact we had to put in another order today. I have a set on my personal car and really liked the results which is why we offer them along side the Magnecor wire, afterall it's nice to have options. Each owner will have an emotional, or other attachment for a variety of reasons, which is why our catalog is so diverse. As far as comparing them to each other, it's sort of like splitting hairs when it gets down to the small stuff. Both are good products, both perform, both are well made. One is more $ than the other. Both look great in the engine bay.

It's important to us to have a good range of products from competitive sources. Whenever feasible we install and test the products we offer and are actively seeking new and fresh products to offer. I like what Kingsborne represents and I like the service and attention to detail they give us on top of having a great product that is priced competitively.

It's good to hear that we are doing a good job and as I'm sure someone out there will tell you; a bad job. If there's something out there that we can do or a particular product that people out there think we should look into, let us know, thanks!

PS, we will be adding two different plugs from BERU in about two weeks which, when paired with the Kingsborne wires should be fantastic. Stay tuned.
