Drivetrain Borla Exhaust Systems @ Group buy prices
Hey, I just purchased my Borla Sport from the guys over at Seven Enterprises in Auburn, CA. What a great deal! I waited some time to purchase performance goodies for my New MINI from vendors until I felt comfortable buying from a trustworthy source. The guys at Seven have been working and selling Mini parts since 1974 and since I've purchase a great deal of parts from them in the past this was a no brainer for buying stuff for my New MINI. Can't believe how easy this was to install.

I hear these guys are going to be doing installs too!

How do you like the Borla Sport exhaust? Have you had anyone complain about the "volume"? I heard one on a heavily modified MINI and thought it was too loud for street use. Have you run any other exhausts other than the stock pipes?
I just installed my Borla Sport about a month ago. I love the sound, and the volume is loud, but not too loud to be really obnoxious. The Magnaflow is louder in comparison. I just drove the car to Vegas for the meet there, and it did drone in sixth gear going up hill on the interstate. I would just kick it down to fifth, and it would quiet down to stock level above 3500 rpms. I would recomend this exhaust if you want more volume, and a really deep sounding exhaust.

I originally heard a Borla exhaust on a Cooper and I like the subtle yet expressive tone. The standard Borla on an MCS was nice also. But like so many others I wanted a little MORE sound. The sound above 5,000 rpm is awesome. The MINI really 'sings' in that range! I also drove my MINI to Vegas and at times in 6th gear around 3,000 rpm it did have a touch of drone, but not like the Magnaflow I've heard. Best of all it didn't bother the wife, and let's face it that was the big test!
The price, lower than any of the group buys I had seen. Contact Mike Kearney @ Seven for a good price. You won't be disappointed. He also owns the most successful racing Mini in North America.

I think Jeremy at http://www.flowfaster.com may still have 1 available for $600 shipped. Give him a call if interested .
>>dude, just post the friggin price! this is like one of those scams where you have to "add to cart" to view the price of something. why not just show the price!????
Yeah, really. I mean if this guy doesn't want to make money, then by all means...don't post the price. Group buys (due to their low prices) makes people buy things might not have normally. If this guy has an ubeatable price, then posting it can only help with sales.

If he told us he would have to kill us.

Borla Performance Industries has a company policy that no company is allowed to advertise below the MAP price( Manufactures Advertised Price). They are VERY serious about this and we have had our hand slapped already once. The MAP price for the Borla Cooper S is $ 665.54. We are selling the system for less, much less but we can't advertise it. Sorry for the confusion.
i understand, thanks for clearing that up Seven.
i still think that homeboy that created this thread, not being a vendor, could have told us the price you are selling it for because then it wouldn't be an advertisement, but rather a review!

I think you need to call them to get the group buy prices... or something like
that.
Anyway, for those that have installed this exhaust, would it be possible to
do the install with just ramps? I don't trust jack stands and would like to use
ramps on the rear wheels if possible ( not sure if my Aero bumper's going
to clear on the front yet when backing up onto the ramp.
)
thanks.
that.

Yes, you can do the install with ramps at the rear but you are still going to need to jack up the front to get enough room under the car to unbolt the first exhaust section from the cat pipe. I don't know about anyone else but I like to get as much room as possible under the car as possible. Makes everything a whole lot easier. Okay, homeboys? I paid $599.00 for my exhaust. And I could of got it for less if there would of been more than two people in on the buy. We all get a little lazy here on the internet with all this info at our fingertips. But I still like to talk to the person I'm doing business with. You never know what kind of deal you can get by just talking to them.
I installed my exhaust with just the rhino ramps. It was a pretty tight squeeze by the cat. The car was literally touching my nose when I was trying to undo the bolts that connect to the cat. I agree that it would of been easier if the car was higher, but I too don't really trust lying under the car with jackstands
