Drivetrain Is P&P worth it on the intake manifold and charger horns?
Is P&P worth it on the intake manifold and charger horns?
I purchased another set of supercharger horns and intake manifold with intentions to have them ported and then powdercoated before swapping them back out. I've gotten a few porting quotes and they are pretty expensive. My question is...is it worth it?
I have a JCW car now with regular bolt ons. I have my RMW header sitting here and a cam and injectors will go in soon and I'm wondering...should I spend the money to port and polish these items or does it not make much of a difference?
Thoughts and if you think it's worth it where do you guys have your work done?

no thoughts here on performance, but id call Way (Way motor Works) His race motor has ported and polished intake manifolds and horns, and he has a service to P&P those pieces as well as powder coat them.
His method is different however, instead or porting and polishing them with a hand grinder, his method involves pumping an abrasive liquid through the pieces at high pressure, making them perfectly smooth (i've seen it in person and it is amazing)
here is a link to it on his website
