bypass valve question

i went to swift motorsports in Norwich ct and told them my car is yo yo-ing bad i suggested maybe it was the bpv, sure enough it's not closing all the way. Swift is 2 hours away so i don't want to go back but the mini dealer is right around the corner from me. Do you think the mini dealer would replace my bpv with a Detroit tuned one if i had it? If they refused to install the aftermarket one, is it worth it to go stock? Thanks.

The DT BPV is a modified version of the OEM one...

Doubt the tech would even know the difference.....

Besides it's such a simple install any local mechanic or backyarder could do it for you, and aa long as all the factory connectors were used no one shoyld be able to tell the difference
