Getting Serious: Need some advise and thoughts

Here is what I am running, but I am getting pretty serious and wanted some feedback.
  • Stratmosphere v1 R56 70mm Exhaust
  • DOS Cold Air Intake
  • Mini Madness Air Diverter with Dual Wiper Tanks with Custom mixed Meth based coolant. (Will post this mod later, cheap and very effective)
  • WMW Diverter Valve Upgrade
  • NM Engineering Hot Side Pipe
Here is my question. I really really want to do Methanol injection as it is advertised as being safe. In really world experience: "Is a Methanol injection with a matching Tune safe?"
Eventually I want to do:
  • Alta AccessPort with Stage 3 Tune
  • Alta Turbo Billet Upgrade
  • Alta Methanol Injection
  • NM Engineering Cold Side Pipe
  • Alta Hard Intake Pipe
  • Riss Racing Catted downpipe
  • Stainless Steel Coolant Reservoir
What are your thoughts?

Yes meth is safe....in fact when done right, it keeps the whole motor safer than it would be without it.

That said, not all meth kits are created equal. You definitely want one that can be tied to injector duty cycle (and I believe Alta's does). And on top of that, there is a lot of engineering/physics that goes into setting it up properly. Injector location, injector nozzle sizing, # of injection locations, running what % of meth vs water...etc. It is best to get with someone that has lots of experience setting up and tuning with meth kits.

I am pretty technically inclined and smart when it comes to electronics, and minorly in turbo motors, so here is my question: Do you think it can be done safely DIY?

Yes, the install itself is not hard.

My point was just that running meth and getting the most out of it takes a little more thought than just throwing a kit on (like most people would).

Last time I spoke with Alta about their Meth kit it will not run on injector duty cycle for our DI motors but it works for standard injection motors. So as far as I know Aquamist HFS-3 or 6 system is the only system for DI motors.

Auto C Cooper sells one as well:

Not sure it has what you're looking for but worth a look anyway. I've heard good things about these systems as well.
