Hey Czar, did you get my email and NAM PM?

Yes I did thank you, and I will be looking over it again, and giving it some thought, during my flight in the morning.

The OEM paper filter is attached securely via two points.
If you have a JCW kit intake you should try the ITG cylindrical filter BH239. It fits just perfect, exactly as the stock paper filter. I use it for nearly two years now.

Thanks penl. I will look into it later. For now, I will just run OEM for the summer.

The problem is that I have a couple of aftermarket parts that are junky.

BTW, where did you pick yours up at, just curious.

With the summer heat hitting us in the South a FMIC sounds like a great idea. I just had to mention that Helix is have a group buy on their FMIC in the vendor group buy section, check it out.

The question I have is will changing out the hot side pipe make a difference or will stock work fine.

The time to do the hot side pipe is when you change the FMIC (That is when I did mine). Did the hot side pipe make a difference by itself? Can't tell because I did the two at the same time. But, my guess is it did. The turbo spools really fast now and I attribute that to the better air flow with the larger IC and the boost pipe. I have the NM hard pipe one which has less flex under boost than the full rubber ones.

Just got a notice that the Helix group buy is ending really soon.
