They are just pieces of pipe. buy which ever you like best, or make your own at www.siliconeintakes.com
A little correction ...
You mean the "cold side" used to have an extension to help accentuate engine noise inside the cabin.

Check this post for more information. The 2011 models do not have the cold side 'noisemaker' anymore.

depends on the month of build. my 2011 has it, but i'm guessing the OP's will not. i believe his car was ordered and delivered in mid april, so he must have one of the latest builds on the road.

Bit of a bump in an old thread...but has anyone actually tried this for the air charge pipe (like this one http://www.nm-eng.com/254/11/0/2444/...ipe.html#popUp[products]/1/)? I mean it looks simple enough, 2 90 degree bends and some straight pipes...but i'm probably wrong :(

+1000 do the pipes. From when did my own I notice faster spool. I don't have the opportunity yet to do a dyno to see if I won horsepower.

I installed the air charge pipe on my countryman s and after driving around it for sure feels like I have lost power. Any suggestions or advice? I can hear the air coming thru a lot cleaner but at higher RPM's it's not as strong.

Double check all your connections. Then triple check. There shouldn't be any power loss.

They really are. We've had great luck with them and they fit perfect. Would love to have users post more feedback.
I can tell you the noise maker delete makes a bigger difference between the two if you are planning on getting them one at a time.

I have the WMW noise maker delete and have been happy with it. I have noticeably better throttle response, especially in stop and go traffic. I didn't notice any change in cabin engine sounds so I have no idea what the noise maker was doing in the first place.

Install was easy and the part is very high quality, fit perfectly with the OEM pipes. Thanks to Way for suggesting it over the NM pipes as it saved me a lot of money!

Can anyone give me some tips on how to get the old one off??? I have the nm cold side pipe I want to put on but it's so damn tight in there I can't get enough leverage to even pull the old one off!
I'm frustrated that such a simple thing is so hard!

To get the noise maker off I used a large screwdriver to pry back the hose and then inserted a smaller screwdriver that I worked around the pipe to loosen it up. It was definitely frustrating and I skinned a few knuckles in the process but once I got the smaller screwdriver in there it came apart quickly. Good luck!

+1. I did mine 2 years ago and I have and '07 so that pipe was on there really good. It'll take a while.
