Thinking of swapping out Milltek header/exhaust

I've been thinking of going back to semi-stock for exhaust. I have a Milltek header/cat/exhaust setup that is maybe a bit too loud now that I've got a newborn. I'm thinking of clearing the stock cat on putting the stock header back on, and getting the exhaust uniballed and put that back on. How much will I regret this in the butt-dyno area? For reference, other power mods I have are; DDM intake, msd coil/wires, brisk plugs, 15% pulley, jcw injectors and s/c. I've also been thinking a combination of the two, like Milltek header with uniball exhuast, etc. What are your thoughts?

FWIW the sound may just put them to sleep quicker

I would lose the header before the Milltek exhaust. One ball mod does practically nothing to free up HP, just weight loss IMO. I also get a sense it would be a better combo for your engine mods as well.

Or I've been thinking of Milltek header with stock cat, or stock hearder with only precat taken out, or stock header with pre cat and cat taken out. I've got some thinking and searching to do before I decide. My original stock header has a collapsed cat that's why I was thinking of running it with a gutted cat, but I do have a spare OEM cat that I can swap in if I don't like it cleared out. I think I will keep the Milltek exhaust because it sounds like it's pretty quiet with OEM header from what I read. As you can tell I'm wishy washy right now, so any input or advice is welcome. I'm in no huge hurry to change it, but plan to some time this summer.

If it were me, I would keep the Milltek header and do a one ball exhaust...header is where more power is made as opposed to the exhaust. But if sound quality is what you are after, stock header and Milltek catback will sound better imho. Good luck in your choice!

I have a Borla Street catback exhaust with the stock cat on an OBX header. It sounds relatively quiet compared to other aftermarket exhausts. I am willing to trade for a Milltek exhaust.
