The JCW kit uses a smaller pulley. The majority of pulleys you see on the aftermarket are mostly 15% (same as JCW). There are 17%,19%,and some smaller being tested, but for a daily driver, stick with the one you have...

Ummm, this doesn't make much sense. He probably has a smaller diameter supercharger pulley than what comes stock with the JCW (which would give you more boost sooner in the power band) and wants to sell you on that. Try and find out what percentage the reduction is on this "low-end torque" pulley and have him explain the difference to you.

high end torque pulley?

The pulley, like the supercharger it is spinning, is effective throughout the entire rpm range.

You're right. It doesn't make much sense. He mentions that he already has the JCW. So....what's going on here????

The JCW kit has only one pulley size to my knowledge...something like 13.8%. Maybe their dealer is offering some of the Helix 15, 17, or 19% jobbers.
