Just one, they come in a pair (one piece goes on the right side of the stock bushing, one goes on the left)

I don't have any pictures of this since. Since then I have gotten the tube replaced. Half of the cause was from the remaining oil in the tube (from an over oiled Alta intake). It caused the tube to just slide off the throttle body.

How come I never hear anything about the water to air Intercooler from DoS? I know it's pricey, but ??

Probably because it isn't worth the money. Most water to air ICs can delay heat soak a little while but eventually the water temp increases faster than it can be cooled and then you just loose power. A good air to air IC can drop temperature faster after heat soak. All it takes is about 30 to 40mph to get enough air flow to start cooling things off.

The absolute best, first mod has got to be a "Light-In-Sight" device http://www.lightinsight.com/ every MINI should have one.

Intercooler efficiency really depends on how the system is designed. Our system doesn't experience the issues that Bilbo is mentioning. We did our homework for flow rate, heat exchange efficiency, and keeping the overall volume of coolant required for the W2A-IC as low as possible.

The main reason that you don't hear that much about the DoS R56 W2A-IC is that A2A-IC's outsell our W2A-IC. They're a higher ticket item and pocketbook is king in this time of economic turnaround.
