What ECU to get???

ok well im new to this forum and have only had my mini "maxx" for a few weeks, upon inspection ive found that my cars ECU upgrade *UniChip V1* a first gen unichip is loosing its programing. so ive decided to just purchase a new one, after some research ive found a few different options.

1. a unichip branded full ecu upgrade with a "flux" allowing various options
http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...p-upgrade.html

and
2. a OBDII plug that can connect to your laptop and download *at a cost* different specs as you see fit.... the catch.... you HAVE to have your car on a bat charger!.!

are there any other options out there? what is everyone running? i have a 17%pulley and a CAI with ignition upgrade..any help would be great, like i said im new to the forced induction and after market ECU upgrades.

Yeah, like everyone is saying mate. For the same price nearly as what you will spend on the uselesschip you can get your car tuned for you and get the most out of it from RMW. The car will relearn over the top of the unichip and then you will have to get it tuned again and again...... Spend the money once and get the best the first time....RMW all the way

ill check that out thank you. i plugged in my unichip again today and it was causing a misfire, so after going back to stock it was fine, called unichip and they basically told me to pound sand and that they would give me a 80$ core towards the purchase of there new model
