Winning

So after a long battle with a P0442 code, I finally found the source. I tried to play shady tree mechanic to hunt down a leak in my fuel evap system with no luck. So finally gave in today and took it to a local shop to get a smoke test done. It took tem a while but finally found the source of the problem, a small hole in the charcoal canister. It was probably caused by a lucky/unlucky rock that just hit it in the perfect spot. I patched it with some 2 part epoxy. If that does not work, its $280 from a dealer, cant find a source for the canister anywhere else. So glad to find the problem thats been giving me this code. In the words of Charlie Sheen, WINNING!!!!!!!!!

Glad you found the problem.
I've used Devcon epoxy for years.
