So I will be replacing my Lower control arm bushings and my sway bar bushings as well as my clutch pretty soon... I figure while I have my car all apart maybe I should mod/replace some preventative maintenance parts... my problem is I don't know what I should be considering... so far the only other part I can think of is to do powerflex engine/transmission mount inserts..

oh my car is an 06 MCS with 81k on the clock.

 

Inspect/replace thermostat. Inspect/service supercharger oil, especially water pump drive. Inspect/replace water pump and hoses.

My '06 just turned 53k and now the oil pan gasket is starting to leak.
If your going to drop your front end, maybe change the pan gasket.

 

The thermostat was replaced last year so I know that is good. I will definitely be checking those hoses... im kinda nervous about the SC scared to see it running low.. but im gonna see whats involved with checking that. as for the oil pan gasket I will say I don't believe I need to change mine my last oil change at 80k the underside of the car was virtually clean. I will be doing a short shifter a weekend or so before the big weekend so ill be giving the underside a good once over just to check for any possible parts I may discover I need.
