never meant to "refresh" you, glad you felt like there was an effort though, it means your brain has decent blood flow.
Hey maybe Pilo can make a flow sprayer "Specifically" for your Brain?!
Good thing your internals are not registered through a patent office or copyrighted, that means... if your flow has slowwed by now, that he might re-engineer something that does not need re-engineering... and I use the term "re-engineering" very loosely.

Enjoy the day!

In my past dealings with the president of DEI (CryO2 mfg.), I am well aware of the different price structures for dealers/jobbers etc. I can feel comfortable in telling you that WCC was just a little off base with his supposed price offering. Even at full blown, high quantity purchase wholesale pricing, dealers are hard pressed to turn a reasonable profit.

Posts in this thread have been removed. Only those posts that dealt with the CO2 system remain.

Just for the record WCC was banned after repeatedly not complying with the site guidelines. He has made successive attacks on the site under new aliases and those have been banned as well.

From this point forward, please keep the discussion in this thread about the CO2 system.

Thanks Dave,

Regarding the CO2,

I got the bottle back today, and it was 25 dollars to fill, and 3 dollar charge for the service to fill. Very reasonable.

I am waiting to get some fittings to complete the connections and then I will test this system out.

Thanks

Someone posted to this thread and it showed up four times. I gather that myself and another moderator saw it at the same time and attempted to delete the extra posts, but we actually deleted all the posts between us. Sorry about that.

Dave

Actually this was yet another attempt by a banned user to come under under an alias. This user has also been banned

Well, I'm back from Vaca, and did some testing today.... Even though it's freaking cold out..

Here are some pictures of the tests... I am very happy with the way it works. I am looking into some different way's of plumbing the system to make it easy to install, make it reliable, and easy to use.

I warmed up the engine, and got the intercooler nice and hot. I then did a 2-3 second burst of CO2, and that thing got REALLY cold... I even left it for a while, and came back (with the car on) and it was still cold to the touch. I was very happy with the findings.... I didn't have any issue yet with it being sucked into the intake, but I am still working on the possibility of a diffrent intake that I have in the works.

Don't mind the messy state the car is in... it needs a big time bath..... That is not from the CO2..

Oh Yea.. Here is the bottle again.. THis was relabeled by the Filling Company. I will be shipping unlabeled bottles. It is the responsability of the filling company to correctly label the bottles contents.

I look forward to seeing the completed product. Are you going to perform any compatibility testing with other aftermarket cold air filters to ensure that CO2 with not inavertedly enter the intake?

Cheers

Hey,

I can't say that I will be able to test with other aftermarket Intakes, but I will try to see what I can do.

A new feature that I am thinking of including will be a integrater timer circuit that will let he unit run for a specified ammount of time one the button is pushed. This will allow for an exact ammount of cooling every time that you press the button to allow for consistant runs at the Drag Strip.

What do you think of this feature?

Thanks,
Dan

I was just down in Miami, and the heat was great coming from NEgative temperatures  But I guess the car won't enjoy it as much as I did.. I should have the whole system done and installed with timer feature by next weekend. I will then get all the prices and options together and put out the prices. The options should include upgrade from std 5lb bottle to 10 lb bottle, as well as the timer feature.
Thanks for the interest.

Dan,
I'm sure you already know this, but, make sure your supplier of the bottles is providing them to you with a draw/siphon tube installed in the tanks. Without this, it will not pull the liquid from the bottom of the tank. I found that tank suppliers will not install it unless you request it...

This is a Siphon Tank, and is rated up to 1800 PSI (though you will only be working with about 800-900 PSI Max. I tested it already and as you can see from the pics above, it worked very well.

Hi Dan,

Any temp #'s yet? or possibly an optional intercooler temp gauge for the system?
Also...how many shots do you expect to see out of a 10lb tank?

No Temps just yet. I am waiting for the Timer still. You can do a shot any where from 1 second to 3 minutes (3 minutes is way to long) I expect to get any where from 2.5-3 minutes or spray time. I am recomending about a 3 second bust time. That would give you about 60 Shots at the minimum.

Hey Guy's

Thanks for the info. I am getting the timer systems soon. The rest of the kit is kind of build to spec. You have choice of 5lb of 10 lb. I will have it up on the site probably next week. I will keep you updated. It would normally take 1-2 weeks for delivery from time of order.

What is the mounting scheme for the bottle with your system? a bracket holding it in the boot?

Any chance for a more stealthy location? I'm dreaming (and I know its probably a dream) about that cavity in the unibody below the passanger's seat that is for the NAV? Maybe have the valve subtly protrude from behind the passanger's seat?

just a thought

Chuck

Right now we are working with the bottle in the boot. If you wanted to get smaller botles, and just use the other parts of the kit, we could work out a deal.

Thanks

I would be very interested in converting my Nitrous system which is already in place to a chiller for the intercooler just to see what the differance in performance might be . Keep up the good work and let me know how I may help out. Randy
