Drivetrain Resonator or CAT?
Resonator or CAT?
Hi,
I just put Magnaflow exhaust with 1 Magnaflow resonator and OBX down pipe.
It has so much resonance around 2000 rpm and hated it.
I'm the second owner of the system. the original owner traded his car in today and swapped them out with me. Originally, without the resonator, it was worst but right now, better but not enough for me.
Would a second resonator get rid of the resonance or would a CAT be the only solution?
I know pretty much would be a CAT.
Thanks so much in advance guys!

Nothing with substitute for a cat if you want to quiet it down. Ditch the Magnaflow res, those things are straight thru and barely quiet anything down. I had a full muffler and a resonator on a honda with no cat and it was horrible. Once I put a catco universal on it sounded better but it was still loud as hell.
Pick up a thermal or dynomax resonator instead. Thermal is known to make very quiet flowing mufflers.
