Basic mods

Everyone is confusing me. i have a 04 mini cooper s, so far i have alta cai, 15% pulley, colder plugs, and one-ball.
i dont plan on racing or making it some kind of nascar, i just wanted to make my car run more zipper.
do i need to get a tune?
do i need to get new fuel injectors?
is there something I'm missing?

1. You do not have to get a tune, however a tune would be the best next thing you could do. (unless your planning on getting injectors, get a tune after)

2. You do not have to get bigger injectors, yes, it will give you the more "zip" you are looking for, but so will just a tune! both would be great

A tune will bring you mods together, it will just make everything feel right... and give you power. I recommend talking to Jan, get a custom or remote tune

Injectors, if you choose to spend the money you will need a tune afterwards to really feel the difference. Most people on NAM opt with the JCW injectors...

if you want to make your car feel more zippier.. then you need more torque.

upgrade to a 17% pulley this will give you more torque down low making your car feel like it has more pep. get some 380cc injector or larger(tune only) to help make sure the 17% has enough fuel up top. complete it with a nice tune and call it a day.

another thing you could add to the list before you get a tune to add a nice bit of torque is a cam.. pretty cheap vs the power you get but only if you are able to install it your self.

hope this helps

You have "basic" mods done...only basic thing you could do is go to a 17% reduction....
If you car does not feel Zippy enough with you basic mods, you either want a very fast car, or it is not performing as it should.
All mods beyond the basics are pretty much diminishing returns...
Injectors, tunes, cams...all add zip!
IMO I would add a bigger rear swaybar...it will make the car turn better, and feel faster!!
