DSC, ABS, No speed indication failure

Hi all,
I need some help. My car is a 2004 Mini Cooper S with JCW package. The sequence of events:
1. First, an intermittent DSC light
2. Then, the cruise control would not engage
3. Then the DSC, ABS, low tire pressure light, and brake lights came on and there was no speed indication.
4. Swapped wheel speed sensors (left to right) both front and rear; no change.
5. I bought an Autoenginuity scan tool and software and it won’t access the DSC system.

Are there any ideas as to what to do next?

Yes, more fun in a way; No ABS or DSC does make a difference on wet roads when your pushing it.

If it was just the tire pressure and abs, I'd vote for a bad wheel sensor.
Btw, swapping them from left to right won't fix anything, you have to replace the bad one.
The dsc suggests perhaps it's the steering wheel position sensor which can trip all three.

May I ask? Did you get it fixed and what was the problem?

Thanks,

I'm guessing about $2250 for part # 34516765287 for an abs/dsc control unit if that's what
you're talking about and if I looked at the right picture.

I baught the repair kit (just the electronics) from Munich Parts SW for $750.00+ a little (I don't have the exact number with me). I installed it today and it did not fix the problem, Now what! It still is not communicating with my scan tool I don't know where to look next. ****!!!

Is the Autoenginuity scan tool equipped to read the ABS system? Most scan tools don't.
It looks like the Autoenginuity is supposed to, however.

Maybe it's time to get the dealer to scan the system and see if it's an ABS wheel sensor ($60 each)
or the steering wheel position sensor (about $300, and then has to be coded), DSC sensor ($570),
or (god forbid) the ABS/DSC control unit itself (over $2200).
Or, could be a bad wire or connector somewhere.

Updates!!!

These were the exact problems that I had on my 03 R50(?) :

-Tire Pressure light on
-ABS light on
-DSC light on
-Temperature gauge would spike to the high end, and as I sped up it would slowly go down to mid point
-Speedo would plummet to 0 for a split second
-Tach dipped down to 0 when stopped and nearly 0 when I was driving slowly

I have ordered 2 front and 2 rear ABS speed sensors. First I scanned and deleted the fault codes. Then I replaced 2 front sensors, scanned and deleted the code again with no fault code (just to make sure). Put the wheels back on, started the car (no more X-mas lights on the dash), and went for a 5 miles hard score run. I drove my car into every pot holes as I saw on the road like a mad man in a stock N/A Mini Cooper for extended testing purpose.

I came back home and did a scan again...no fault code presented...
The problems were fixed (for now?).
Yey....

Anyways, I will report back if the fault code comes back but for now I need to go and get laid first

So, thank you very very much for your helps and feedbacks guys.

Cristo, why your screen-name is in red color? Are you about to get banned or something?

Anyways, I noticed that you were very helpful person in this Mini Cooper community. Great job and keep it up, buddy.

Thanks.
I have no idea. I never noticed it until you mentioned it.
Maybe one of the moderators could chime in and tell me.

I thought of that, but I found other Alliance members with black names, but they were all administrators.
Then I found some non-administrator Alliance members, and they have red names.
Solved.

I have the same problem in #3 above. also my odometer is stuck at the same mileage. DSC unit fault or ABS wheel speed sensor or steering angle sensor problem?

Update: dsc unit/abs module was replaced and coded by dealership and so far problem solved
