HELP! Engine Rebuild Time

Basically
I have my parts and I'm ready to get the work ALL done. I need to swap out my pistons and overbore them to the 77.5mm size, new engine and rod bearings to replace, a new clutch, new header, new water pump, new oil pump, new thermostat and general fluid changes, belt changes and spark plug changes that need to be done.

All in all machine work and such will all be needed.

Does anyone have any tips on who I can go to? For a reasonable price? I can stretch the inbetweens of San Diego to roughly Burbank too. A little east won't be too bad either. Any ideas?

Why are you rebuilding the engine, and what are the goals for it?

If, for example, you are doing the rebuild in a race car and the rebuild must comply with the rules of a racing body, you want the job to be performed by a builder who is intimately familiar and experienced with the rules of the governing racing body.

Engine Rebuild Resources

My cooper ran low on oil and needs new piston bearings maybe crank bearings too. What shop manuals did you use to rebuild your engine? I have a Bentley manual, but it does not cover engine rebuilds.
